Town Budgets to Help Local Organizations

April is a busy month for the town council. In addition to holding its regularly-scheduled meeting at the beginning of the month, members hold several meetings in the weeks to follow to review the town manager's budget, hear pitches from various departments around town and decide where to make cuts to provide residents with quality services at a reasonable price.

Included in those services are the efforts of local organizations — many of which would suffer without financial support from the town.

This year, Town Manager Peter Souza has proposed the town provide support for the following organizations and services:
