WINDSOR, CT — A $50 investment in a CT Lottery instant game paid off incredibly for a Windsor Locks resident, who claimed a $3 million bonanza on a scratch picket purchased at a convenience store in Windsor.

The lucky player, who opted to remain anonymous, acquired the $4,000,000 Fortune ticket at the Noble station on Kennedy Road. The game, which debuted in December, offers three top prizes, paid as a $4 million 20-year annuity or a one-time gross cash option of $3 million.

The winnings were claimed Wednesday, according to the CT Lottery website.
