Windsor Man Takes Home 5-Figure Daily Lottery Bonanza
He recently cashed in a winning ticket for more than $30,000, purchased at a retail establishment in his hometown.
WINDSOR, CT — A tiny investment of a buck and a half yielded a profit of more than $30,000 for a Windsor resident playing one of the CT Lottery's daily numbers games.
The lucky winner, identified by the lottery merely as Michael R of Windsor, won $33,918 in the Cash5 numbers game, on a ticket he purchased at the Windsor Smoke Shop at 82 Poquonock Avenue. He claimed his winnings Friday, according to the CT Lottery website.
The CT Lottery routinely publishes winnings of $10,000 or more as public record.
