Windsor Resident Claims $2 Million Powerball Bonanza
The winnings in the multi-state lottery game were claimed Tuesday, according to the CT Lottery.

WINDSOR, CT — A $2 million dollar prize from a Powerball lottery ticket sold at a Windsor convenience store has been claimed by a local resident.
The winner, who opted to remain anonymous, claimed their bonanza Tuesday, according to the CT Lottery website. The lucky ticket for last Saturday's drawing had been purchased at the Sunoco station on Poquonock Avenue.
Powerball is played in 45 states as well as Washington, D.C, the U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico. The only states not offering the game are Alabama, Alaska, Hawaii, Nevada and Utah.
