On Campus: Great Accomplishments By College Students From Windsor Locks And East Windsor

American International College, Springfield MA

• Jade Steele Stripsky of Broad Brook has graduated from American International College (AIC) with a Master of Education in elementary education. On Sunday, May 4, the College conferred degrees to graduates in the Class of 2025, receiving bachelor's, master's, and doctorate degrees from its School of Health Sciences, School of Education, and School of Business, Arts, and Sciences.
• Cole Rodriguez and Sebastyan Torres, both of Windsor Locks, were among 468 students who earned a place on the Dean's List for the spring 2025 semester. These full-time students have attained GPAs ranging from 3.3 to 4.0.

Salve Regina University, Newport RI

• Abigail Tishon of Broad Brook was named to the Dean's List during the spring 2025 academic semester at Salve Regina University. To qualify for the Dean's List, students must earn a semester grade point average of 3.6 for full-time students completing at least 12 graded credits, or a semester grade point average of 3.8 for part-time students completing at least six credits.

University of Hartford, West Hartford CT

• A number of local residents were named to the President's List for the spring 2025 semester. They are Sarah Halsey, Carly MacDougald, AJ McGrath, Arya Muska, Gavin Stone, Anthony Stoor and Cooper Wright, all of Windsor Locks, and Kylar Maldonado of East Windsor. To be placed on the President's List, students must maintain a GPA of at least a 3.75 and receive grades of C or better.
• Students from Windsor Locks and East Windsor made the Dean's List for the 2025 spring semester. Windsor Locks honorees were Hadeel Alomari, Michael Bukowinski, Cristian Calero, Sarah Halsey, Carly MacDougald, AJ McGrath, Emily Milczak, Arya Muska, Gavin Stone, Anthony Stoor and Cooper Wright, all of Windsor Locks, and Kylar Maldonado and Carter Pica-Sneeden, both of East Windsor. The Dean's List requirement, with some exceptions, is a grade point average of at least 3.0 and no grade below C.

Wheaton College, Norton MA

• Sophomore Rory Carchrie-Leigh of Broad Brook, formerly of South Windsor, was named to the Dean's List of Wheaton College for the spring 2025 semester. Students must earn a GPA of 3.5 and complete three courses to be considered for this honor. Rory declared a double major in U.S. history and English with a concentration in medieval and Renaissance literature.
