More than 100 Connecticut National Guard soldiers returned home Tuesday to the Army Aviation Support Facility in Windsor Locks from Bahrain.
The 248th Engineer Company, led by Capt. Keith Parent of Enfield, was responsible for "providing security and protecting installations in the country," according to Boston.com.
The company was also deployed to Iraq in 2003, according to the Connecticut Post.
