EAST WINDSOR, CT — For many years, the Ranch House has satisfied hungry palates of diners seeking great food fast (but not fast food). Its two locations in Windsor and East Hartford offer a variety of breakfast and lunch fare, including mouth-watering chili dogs and sandwiches.

Soon, those culinary tastes will be available in East Windsor, as the owners are planning to open a third site on Route 5. For the past 20 years, the building at 238 South Main Street has housed Hotcakes, a breakfast and lunch spot which recently closed its doors.

No timetable has yet been established for the opening of the newest Ranch House, but renovation work on the eatery has begun.
