Lottery Player From Windsor Locks Buys Lucky Ticket Worth Nearly $100K
A lucky winner from Windsor Locks recently received a nice windfall from a CT Lottery Fast Play game.

EAST GRANBY, CT — A small investment in a CT Lottery Fast Play progressive game paid off handsomely for a player from Windsor Locks, who recently cashed in a prize of more than $95,000.
The lucky winner, who opted to remain anonymous, scored a payout of $95,465 on a Fast Play - $5 Stacks of CA$H Progressive ticket purchased at the Pride station on Route 20 in East Granby. The winnings were claimed Friday, according to the CT Lottery.
Fast Play Progressive jackpots begin with a set minimum value. Once the minimum jackpot is funded, it grows with each ticket sold statewide until someone wins. The progressive jackpot then resets to the minimum value, and grows again.

The ticket price paid determines the percentage of the progressive jackpot one could win. For example, a $1 ticket wins 20 percent of the progressive jackpot; a $2 ticket wins 40 percent of the progressive jackpot; and a $5 ticket wins 100 percent of the progressive jackpot.
The CT Lottery routinely publishes winnings of $10,000 or more as public record.
