In a move to slow traffic passing by baseball players and fans at Pesci Park, Windsor Locks installed a strip of temporary speed cushions on Center Street Thursday.
The police commission's March approval of the cushions was prompted by safety concerns expressed by local little league officials, according to Commission Chair Kevin Brace.
According to Brace, the cushions will be removed after the little league season.
