Delaware Teen's 2020 Murder Still Unsolved; Police Seek Public's Help
Wilmington police are asking for the public's help with its investigation into the death of 16-year-old Janaija Johnson.

The Wilmington Police Department’s Cold Case Unit is asking for the public's help with its investigation into the 2020 death of 16-year-old Janaija Johnson, authorities announced Tuesday.
Johnson died following a shooting on April 20, 2020, according to police. Authorities were called to the 200 block of North Madison Street around 4:50 a.m. When officers arrived, they found Johnson inside a car near Sixth and Van Buren streets.
Johnson was taken to a hospital where she died from injuries, police said.

The investigation into her death is ongoing, and police are asking anyone with information about the case to contact authorities.
