Redding Consortium to vote Tuesday on redistricting Wilmington schools (spotlightdelaware.org) — A state task force will vote Tuesday on major changes to how Wilmington students are assigned to school districts, potentially reshaping all four districts that now serve the city. Delaware Capitol Police expands Facility Dog Program statewide (wdel.com) — Wilmington residents visiting the New Castle County Courthouse may already know Vinn, the facility dog who has spent years comforting children and other vulnerable people during stressful court proceedings. Now, Delaware Capitol Police is expanding this courthouse dog program to every courthouse statewide, so similar support will be available in Kent and Sussex counties as well. Requests can be made through the state courts website.

Padua, Tatnall standouts lead Delaware cross-country All-State teams (delawareonline.com) — Delaware’s top high school cross-country runners and coaches were honored this week, with several Wilmington programs in the spotlight. Wilmington Christian’s girls coach Mike Malone earned Coach of the Year after a strong state meet, and runners from Wilmington Christian and Charter of Wilmington landed All-State recognition alongside Padua and Tatnall standouts.
