Family Caregivers Month Event: Nov 13 Alzheimer's Association Dementia Caregivers Workshop

Community event gathers dementia caregivers for best practices, local resources and peer-to-peer networking

The Alzheimer’s Association Delaware Valley Chapter invites dementia caregivers to a morning workshop on Thursday, November 13 in New Castle, Delaware. Attendees will learn from local experts and caregivers about dealing with common challenges, burnout and family dynamics, memory care resources that empower families, and local support services.

"Caring for someone living with dementia brings a unique set of challenges and rewards," said Erica Holmes, Programs Manager, Alzheimer's Association Delaware Valley Chapter. "No one should face dementia alone. It is important that caregivers have access to tools and best practices that can guide them on their journey. We are especially pleased to bring this education opportunity during November, which is Family Caregivers Month.”
