1. 520 grams of cocaine found in Wilmington home with kids inside (shorenewsnetwork.com) — Police say a man was arrested after more than half a kilogram of suspected cocaine was found in a Wilmington home where children also live, with drugs allegedly stored in areas kids could reach. The 55-year-old was taken into custody on Denn Place, charged with multiple felonies, and is being held on a substantial cash bond at Howard R. Young Correctional Institution.
   

2. Driver / Vehicle Identified* State Police Investigating Fatal Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Crash (delaware.gov) — State police are still investigating a fatal hit-and-run that happened Saturday morning in Wilmington and have now identified both the vehicle and a 24-year-old Wilmington man as the driver. No charges have been filed yet, and investigators are asking anyone with eyewitness accounts or video footage to come forward. Victim support services are also available around the clock for affected residents.
   

3. Concord Mall up for sale (delawarebusinesstimes.com) — Concord Mall on Concord Pike in Wilmington is being listed for sale again, this time with a $30 million asking price. The 1960s-era mall remains mostly occupied with major national retailers, and its potential sale could shape future shopping, jobs, and redevelopment along the busy U.S. 202 corridor near the Pennsylvania line.
   

4. Wilmington's Ladybug Music Festival is sold. Here's who rescued it (delawareonline.com) — Wilmington’s Ladybug Music Festival has been saved, with local nonprofit I.D.E.A. taking over ownership and planning to keep the women-focused, free music event rooted in the city. The group behind TEDxWilmington aims to expand Ladybug’s impact with entrepreneurship, wellness, and creative development opportunities while honoring founder Gayle Dillman’s legacy after pandemic struggles nearly ended the festival.
   

5. Red Lion, Middletown among Delaware schools represented in 2025 Army/Navy game on WDEL (wdel.com) — Delaware football fans can watch several homegrown players, including Wilmington native Chace Knox, suit up in today’s Army–Navy game in Baltimore. Army features alumni from Red Lion Christian, Middletown, Salesianum, and Knox, while Navy counters with a Middletown grad, with WDEL carrying the broadcast led by former Wilmington Blue Rocks announcer John Sadak.
