Foulk Living in Wilmington Rallies Community to Support Alzheimer’s Research with Fundraising Events

Wilmington, DE — Foulk Living, a senior living community that has been recognized by U.S. News & World Report as a "Best" provider in independent living, long-term care, and memory care, is taking action in the fight against Alzheimer’s disease. Through a series of upcoming community-wide events, the team at Foulk Living is working to raise money leading up to their participation in the Alzheimer’s Association’s Walk to End Alzheimer’s, the nation’s largest fundraiser for Alzheimer’s care, support, and research.

“At Foulk Living, we care for individuals with Alzheimer’s and other types of dementia every day,” said Leslie Johnson, executive director. “We walk alongside our residents and their families through the challenges of this disease. While providing exceptional care is always our top priority, we’re also committed to supporting the mission to find a cure. Our entire team is passionate about making a difference.”

To support the cause, Foulk Living’s Walk to End Alzheimer’s team is organizing a variety of fun events open to residents, families, and the greater community:

Upcoming Fundraising Events at Foulk Living:

• Outdoor Halloween Movie Screening – August 17 Enjoy a spooky family-friendly movie under the stars. Open to the community.
• Casino Night Party – August 19, 4 to 7 p.m.

Poker, Black Jack, Roulette and more. $30 entrance fee

• Bake Sale – September 5, 11 a.m. Stop by for homemade goodies
• Fish Fry – September 12, 12 to 3 p.m. Presale orders accepted August 1 through 29 for pick-up on September 12
• Sip and Paint – October 10
