Millcroft Living Celebrates Dog Days of Summer

Millcroft Living in Newark, Delaware went to the dogs this summer…but in a good way. The senior living community hosted its second annual Dog Days of Summer celebration, a joyful event dreamed up by life enrichment team.

The afternoon was all about celebrating dogs, both literally and figuratively. Residents and guests from the greater community got to meet and cuddle real pups, thanks to PAWS and the Seeing Eye Dogs of Delaware, who brought along their four-legged ambassadors. Tails wagged, ears flopped, and smiles spread as everyone enjoyed the furry visitors.

DJ Neil Farber kept the energy high with music that had toes tapping and heads bobbing. And of course, the menu was perfectly on theme. Guests enjoyed plenty of hot dogs and trimmings.

Between the music, the laughter, and the sound of happy barking, Dog Days of Summer proved once again that Millcroft Living knows how to throw a celebration that brings people together…two-legged and four-legged alike.
