Shipley Living to Host 3rd Annual Gala Benefiting the Alzheimer’s Association

WILMINGTON, Del. — Shipley Living senior living community in Wilmington, is proud to announce its 3rd Annual Gala, an evening dedicated to raising funds and awareness for the Alzheimer’s Association. The highly anticipated event will be held on-site at Shipley Living and is open to the public.

The gala serves as the culmination of a year-long fundraising effort that leads up to the Walk to End Alzheimer’s on October 18. This is a cause close to the hearts of Shipley Living residents, families, and team members. Guests will enjoy an elegant evening featuring cocktails, a gourmet dinner prepared by Shipley Living’s acclaimed Chef Cy, raffle prizes, and more.

Tickets are available at $30 for residents and $50 for community members. Proceeds directly support the Alzheimer’s Association and its mission to advance research, provide resources, and offer hope to those living with Alzheimer’s and their families.

“At Shipley Living, we witness the impact of this devastating disease every day,” said Keisha Jacobs-Jackson, Director of Sales and Marketing. “We not only care for residents with dementia but also have team members and families personally affected as well. That’s why we fundraise year-round and host this gala each October before proudly participating in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s.”
