Shue-Medill Chinese Immersion Students Participated in the U.S.–China Virtual Exchange

We proudly recognize our student host of the event for their outstanding performance.

In November, Shue-Medill Middle School Teacher Andrea Li's 8th-grade Chinese Immersion students participated in the U.S.-China Virtual Exchange, joining students from Friends Select School and the Shipley School in Pennsylvania on the U.S. side. The conversation focused on "Festivals, Culture, and Sustainability--How Do Traditional Celebrations Shape Our Sense of Community?"

We proudly recognize our student host of the event, Isabella S., along with participants Corinna H., Henry L., Finnegan L., and Violet O. for their outstanding performance. Each student spoke with confidence, shared thoughtful cultural perspectives, and represented Shue-Medill Middle School with pride.
