Florida Couple's 3 Daughters Have Same Birthday But Different Year
The odds of the Florida couple's daughters sharing the same birthday in different years is about an 8 in 1 million chance, one expert said.
FLORIDA — A Florida couple has managed to accomplish a rare and unusual feat: giving birth to three daughters on the very same day, and, no, they are not triplets. They were born in different years.
"It was for sure not intentional," Kristin Lammert, the girls' mother, told Good Morning America. "It wasn't even a thought at first."
Kristin and Nick Lammert's three daughters celebrated their shared birthday Thursday.

"Happy Birthday to our precious 'Triple Crown' birthday girls," the couple posted to Facebook.
Their oldest daughter, Sophia, was born on Aug. 25, 2015. Their middle child, Guiliana, was born three years later on the very same day in 2018. Their third daughter entered the world last year, and, yep, you guessed it. She, too, was born on Aug. 25.

The Lammerts told GMA they knew their daughters would have birthdays close together — but not THAT close.
"It was definitely more of a, 'Oh my gosh, it would be so crazy if they came on the same day,''' Nick told the national morning show. "But they again were due almost a week apart."
Kristin told ClickOrlando that "divine intervention" or "fate" may have also played a role in allowing the girls to share the same special occasion.
The couple's youngest daughter, Mia, was supposed to be born Sept. 8, 2021, she told the Orlando television station. Instead, she arrived two weeks early after Kristin developed preeclampsia.
University of Minnesota sociology professor Rob Warren told the Star Tribune that the likelihood of the couple's daughters sharing the same birthday is about an 8 in 1 million chance.
However, it does happen. The Lammerts aren't the first couple to experience such a unique phenomenon.
A Minnesota couple, Chris and Britt Bernard, celebrates their young children's birthday on the same day. Their kids were all born two years apart and on April 6, according to the newspaper.
As for the Lammerts, they haven't ruled out adding a fourth kid to their happy family in the future. The question remains: "Can the couple keep the shared birthday streak going?" Anything is possible, they said.
"She’s really good at planning,” Nick said.
