"When it comes to eating unhealthy in Florida, you have your work cut out for you, but one locale rises above," the food blog said. "Sarasota's Munchies 420 Cafe serves up a menu for anyone who got hit with strong cravings for unhealthy combos of fried chicken sandwiches loaded with melted cheese sauce or incredibly huge burgers. The restaurant describes itself this way: "At Munchies, we're catering to the 420 culture with late-night, loaded-with-cheese eats, an eclectic and accepting atmosphere, and one of Sarasota's liveliest bars. Locals have gotten to know us pretty well at this point – we've been open since 2002 – and we even made an appearance on Man V. Food. ... Though our fun and alternative style may have earned us some notoriety, we're as friendly and welcoming as we've ever been."
