Here's Where 4 FL Cities Rank Among Nation's Safest
A new report analyzes where U.S. cities land regarding financial safety, home and community safety and natural disaster risks.
FLORIDA — Some Florida cities are near the middle of the pack among the safest cities in the U.S., a new WalletHub analysis shows.
WalletHub's Chip Lupo, an analyst with the personal finance website, said safety goes beyond crime rates, auto fatality rates or natural disaster risks.
"The safest cities in America protect residents from these threats of bodily harm and property damage, but on top of that, they also help secure people’s financial safety," Lupos said in the report. "Financial safety includes things like minimizing the risk of fraud and identity theft, keeping the population employed and insured and combating homelessness.”
