Leasing is underway at Marco Island’s first senior living community

The Watermark at Marco Island will bring wellness-centered senior living to the island

The Watermark at Marco Island, the first assisted living and memory care community on Marco Island, is now accepting reservations. The 86-unit community, located at 1170 San Marco Road, will place a unique focus on whole-person wellness and healthy aging and offer resort-style amenities, waterfront views and longevity-based care to local seniors. The community is set to open later this year.

The Watermark at Marco Island is managed by Watermark Retirement Communities, a top-10 senior housing provider known for its unparalled approach to whole-person wellness. The Watermark at Marco Island will include 66 assisted living and 20 memory care residences. Amenities include a fitness center, wellness center, salon and spa, as well as waterfront dining and sunset views. The community’s two distinct dining venues will also feature seasonal menus highlighting fresh, local ingredients and restaurant-style service.

Residents can enjoy a dynamic calendar of classes through Watermark University and attend exciting daytrips through the Extraordinary Outings program. Also exculsive to Watermark Retirement Communities is the BrainCafé℠, a collaboration with the UCLA Longevity Center to provide a comprehensive memory training series to help residents remember life’s most important details.

The Internal Staff Training by Watermark Retirement Communities is recognized by the Alzheimer’s Association® for incorporating the evidenced-based Dementia Care Practice Recommendations in the following topic areas: Alzheimer’s and dementia, person-centered care, assessment and care planning, activities of daily living, and behaviors and communication.
