Katie James named a 2013 National Merit Finalist

Katherine James, a senior at Newsome High School, was named a 2013 National Merit finalist, the only finalist at Newsome this year. She has been accepted to Georgia Tech, the University of South Florida, the University of Central Florida and the University of Florida.

James is the daughter of Jeffrey and Judith James of Channing Park in Lithia.
