Jeff Dale Vandiver, age 53, passed away on Monday, March 4, after a long battle with cancer.
He was born on Oct. 3, 1959, in Lakeland, and later moved to the Riverview area.
He was a faithful employee of Cargill/Mosaic and worked at their phosphate facility for 36 years.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Thelma and J.D. Vandiver, and brother Fred Vandiver.
He is survived by his partner, Ray Hinkle of Riverview; daughter Ashley Vandiver and fiancé Rob Rushing of Auburndale; brothers Clifton Vandiver and Autry Vandiver of Lakeland; niece Rachel Vandiver of Lakeland and his kitty companion Buddy.

He is also survived by many other family members and friends.
He was a loving partner, father, and friend who will be greatly missed by all.
There will be a funeral service on Sunday, March 10 at 2 p.m. at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home in Riverview, with a visitation one hour prior.
