Services Set for Julianna McDermott

Julianna “Julie” McDermott, 79, died on March 26.

Mrs. McDermott is preceded in death by her husband, Francis "Red" McDermott.

She is survived by her three sons and daughter-in-laws, Mark and Jackie McDermott of Huntsville, Ala., Paul and Debbie McDermott of Norfolk, Va., Marty and Misty McDermott of Valrico; two daughters and son-in-laws, Lynn and Larry Friedberg of Brandon and JoAnn and Michael Schrock of Valrico; sister, Mary Tully of Brandon; grandchildren, Larissa, Amber, Ryan, Jodi, Evan, Megan, Devin, Caitlin, Samantha, Rhiannnon and Derek; great-grandchildren, Austin, Ava, Summer and Lily.

There will be a visitation on Tuesday, April 2 from 3-5 p.m. at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home in Riverview. A Funeral Mass will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 2, at St. Stephen Catholic Church with the Rev. Emory officiating.

She will be laid to rest on Wednesday, April 3 at 10 a.m. at Garden of Memories.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul at St. Stephen Catholic Church.
