Lyle Victor Grundish, 77, of Riverview, died Jan. 8.
He was born on Oct. 16, 1935, in Bryan, Ohio, to the late Burl and Evelyn (Haase) Grundish.
Grundish was a U.S. veteran, having served with the United States Marine Corps. He worked many years and retired from Cargill Co. and Ring Power.

Also for many years he owned and operated a rabbitry in Riverview.
He is survived by a companion, Barbara Thompson; a nephew, Gary Alan (Cindy) Grundish; two nieces, Beverly (Scott) Speary and Victoria (Robert) Berg; grandnieces and nephews, Brandy, Amanda, Ashley, Amber, Robbie, Trish; and many great-grandnieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Wayne Grundish and Gary Grundish, and a sister, Katherine Grundish.
A funeral service will take place on Tuesday Jan. 15 at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home at 11 a.m. The family will receive guests at the funeral home on Monday Jan. 14 from 6 to 8 p.m. Burial will take place in Hackney Cemetery.
