Deputies Search For Gunman In Wimauma Shooting

WIMAUMA, FL - Hillsborough deputies are searching for the shooter of an 18-year-old Wimauma man who was shot in the chest by someone in a passing vehicle on Nov. 30 while walking near the intersection of Railroad Street and Aley Street looking for his dog. The incident occurred about 9:40 p.m.

Giovanni Soto said he was looking down at the ground when the vehicle passed and did not see who was in the vehicle. The victim described the vehicle as a late model dark in color, minivan or SUV with rectangular rear lights.
