‘Five Nights At Freddy’s’ Mask-Wearing Robber Caught: Deputies
A Plant City teen has been charged in a recent armed robbery at a Riverview Speedway.

RIVERVIEW, FL — The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office has announced an arrest in a recent armed robbery at a Riverview Speedway during which the suspect wore an “orange bear ‘Five Nights at Freddy’s’ fox mask.”
According to the agency, a 16-year-old from Plant City has been charged with armed robbery in the case. The teen’s arrest was announced Wednesday morning.
The robbery in question occurred on Feb. 21 around 3:23 a.m. when a person entered the 13179 U.S. 301 S. store armed with a shotgun. The suspect demanded cash, received it and took off in the direction of The Grove at South Shore apartment complex.

The Feb. 21 robbery at the Speedway was the third since January. The other two robberies remain under investigation. It is unclear if the teen whose arrest was announced March 1 is connected to them, but detectives have said it is possible all three crimes are connected.
Patch is not releasing the teen’s name due to his age.
