Hillsborough Firefighters Battle Blaze In Wimauma

TAMPA, FL - Hillsborough deputies are currently on scene of a house fire and assisting with traffic control on Bonita Drive in Wimauma. Bonita Drive is closed east of U.S. 301, authorities said.

One person has been transported by fire rescue to South Bay Hospital as a precaution for smoke inhalation. Bonita Drive will be blocked for the next couple of hours, motorists are encouraged to avoid the area, authorities said.
