HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, FL — The Hillsborough County Public Library's December virtual events includes activities for kids, families and adults.

Here's a list of what's happening at your local library:

Dec. 3

• An Evening With Joy Harjo: NEA Big Read, 6:30 p.m.

Dec. 4

• Virtual Saturday Story Time, All-Day event

Dec. 5

• Activities To Go: December Edition, All Day

Dec. 6

• Story Time, 9:30 - 9:50 a.m.
• Master Gardener: Herbs and Recipes, 6 p.m.

Dec. 8

• Serving Those In Need: Hillsborough County Social Services, 6 p.m.

Dec. 13

• Eye on the Universe: the Future of NASA's Webb Telescope, 6:30 p.m.

Dec. 15

• Tech Topics: 2021 Countdown, 5:30 p.m.

Dec. 17

• Trivia Night: Winter Wonderland, 6:30 p.m.

Winter is here. Test your knowledge of this season's weather, holidays around the world, and festive food, music, and movies. Prizes will be awarded to the winning teams. Holiday Closings, Hours

All libraries in the Hillsborough County Public Library Cooperative will be closing early at 6 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 20 to Thursday, Dec. 23. Bruton Memorial Library will be closed on Thursday, Dec. 23. All libraries in the Hillsborough County Public Library Cooperative will be closed on Friday, Dec. 24 to Monday, Dec. 27, except for Bruton Memorial Library and Temple Terrace Public Library, which both will be open on Monday, Dec. 27 and close early at 6 p.m. All libraries in the Hillsborough County Public Library Cooperative will be closing early at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 28 to Thursday, Dec. 30.

New Year's
