Fatal 2-Car Crash Kills Riverview Man On State Road 574: FHP

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, FL — A two-car crash early Tuesday morning killed a 55-year-old Riverview man on State Road 574, Florida Highway Patrol said.

The Riverview man turned in front of a 54-year-old Tampa woman who drove a pickup truck at the intersection of Riga Boulevard and SR-574 westbound, authorities said. As he turned in front of her, the vehicles smashed into each other at about 4:54 a.m., detectives said. The Riverview man died at a local hospital, officers said.
