Valrico Man Uses Social Media To Send Death Threats: State Attorney
According to the U.S. Attorney's Office, if the suspect is found guilty of cyberstalking, he could face up to five years in federal prison.

VALRICO, FL — A Valrico man has recently been charged in court with cyberstalking, the U.S. Attorney's Office said in a news release.
Dominique Jade Dragan, 28, is accused of harassing and intimidating three victims with a series of social media messages, court documents said. He allegedly sent threats on Instagram that said, "I can't wait to hear the bones in your neck break", and "I can't wait to murder you". Authorities said Dragan also included racially charged language and threatened the victims with violence if they reported him to law enforcement. The criminal complaint said he sent threatening messages January 2020 through July 2021.
He faces a maximum of five years in federal prison, investigators said. He made his first appearance in federal court Oct. 19, and the judge ordered him to be detained pending trial. Dragan’s conduct placed the victims in reasonable fear of serious injury and death, detectives said.
