Brad is an avid squash player and a member of Saint Andrew's School's varsity squash team. Brad has used his passion of squash to help other children enjoy the sport and learn about the importance of perseverance, teamwork, and focusing on academics.
Brad created a charity when he was in 5th grade. He collected gently used squash equipment and gave it children in need, so that they would have the opportunity to participate and enjoy sports without a barrier of entry. In many ways, he is like the glue that holds his team together. He is so supportive and outgoing with his teammates, always helping and encouraging in any way possible.
This year, there was a period of a few weeks that he was not able to play and so he redirected his energy in a new direction. He wrote a poem about not being able to play squash and its impact on his life.
Brad is the type of person who gives as much as possible while never asking for anything in return. It makes us, as his parents, so proud to see how he is such a selfless and giving person, and accepting of anyone and everyone. Perhaps his growing up in a multi-racial family has made him naturally a very accepting young man, who inspires everyone around him.
What three words best describe your star student?
