3 Killed In Fiery I-275 Crash In Manatee County: FL Highway Patrol
Three people were killed on I-275 in Palmetto early Wednesday after a truck drove off the highway, hit a pole and caught fire, FHP said.
PALMETTO, FL — Three people were killed in a fiery single-vehicle crash on Interstate 275 in Manatee County early Wednesday morning, according to a Florida Highway Patrol news release.
A pick-up truck was heading south on the interstate when it drove off the road at mile marker 1 in Palmetto around 3:15 a.m.
The truck entered the median and hit a utility pole before catching fire, FHP said.

The driver and both passengers were pronounced dead at the scene.
Information about the victims will be released after they’ve been positively identified, FHP said.
