Airborne Car Hits Boat Lift, Lands In Water: Bradenton Police
A car drove off the road and launched into the water at Riverside Drive, hitting a boat lift, Bradenton police said.

BRADENTON, FL — There were no serious injuries when a driver launched her car, believed to be traveling at 60 mph, off 20th Street East at Riverside Drive and into the water on Monday night, Bradenton police wrote in a social media post.
The car became airborne and hit a boat lift’s wooden pole, breaking it in half.
The driver, a woman in her 50s, had partially crawled through the windshield when officers arrived at the scene, police said.

Officers and the Bradenton Fire Department helped pull her from the car while simultaneously securing the boat.
The woman showed no signs of impairment, police said.
