What’s Open, Closed On Christmas 2025 In Bradenton
Here are some closures and schedule changes for some Bradenton government offices, facilities and services.
BRADENTON, FL — With many Bradenton residents celebrating Christmas on Thursday, here are some closures and schedule changes affecting government offices, facilities and services over the holiday.
Bradenton City Hall and Administrative Offices: Closed Wednesday and Thursday.
Bradenton Solid Waste and Recycling Collection: Thursday’s collection will take place on Friday and Friday’s pick-up will take place on Saturday. Offices closed Thursday and Friday.

Manatee County Libraries: All locations closed on Wednesday and Thursday.
Manatee County Public Parks, Preserves and Beaches: Open Wednesday and Thursday.

Manatee County and Buffalo Creek Golf Courses: Closed on Thursday.
G.T. Bray Recreation Center: Closed Wednesday through Friday.
John Marble Recreation Center: Closed through Friday.
School District of Manatee County: Schools closed through Jan. 2. Jan. 2 is a teacher work day and Jan. 5 is an in-service day for staff. Students return to the classroom on Jan. 6.
Manatee County Area Transit: Buses stop running at 3 p.m. and the Anna Maria Island Trolley will stop running at 7 p.m. on Wednesday. There will be no fixed route or Handy Bus service on Thursday.
