MANATEE COUNTY, FL — Three trucks, including a semi-tractor trailer truck, were involved in a Monday afternoon crash in Manatee County, according to a Florida Highway Patrol news release.

The semi truck was heading east on State Road 70, approaching the Betts Road intersection, around 12:45 p.m.

A pick-up truck driven by a 24-year-old Arcadia man heading west on S.R. 70 at the same intersection stopped to make a left turn onto Betts when another pick-up truck failed to stop behind it, state troopers said.
