5 Armed Men Sought In Bradenton Home Invasion

Manatee County deputies are searching for five suspects accused in a Wednesday morning armed home invasion in Bradenton.

BRADENTON, FL — The Manatee County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a Wednesday morning armed home invasion that left two people with minor injuries.

According to the agency, three male victims, all in their early 20s, were playing video games in the living room of a home in the 2800 block of Fifth Street East around 12:30 a.m. May 10. As they were playing, five masked men, all carrying handguns, entered the home and ordered the victims to the ground, the sheriff's office said.

Authorities say two of the victims were struck on the head during the incident. Both suffered minor injuries.

The suspects took cash from the home and then left, an email from the sheriff’s office said.

“It is believed the residence was targeted by the suspects,” the agency noted.

Descriptions of the suspects are not available. Further information is not being released at this time.
