This roadway capacity-improvement project will widen approximately one mile of 75th Street W. from the existing two-lane section to a divided four-lane section (two lanes in each direction) with a center left turn lane and/or raised median, the county said.

Safety and operational enhancements will include pedestrian and bicycle facility upgrades, including a shared-use path, drainage improvements and designated stormwater ponds, county utility modifications, replacing and upgrading traffic signals as needed to accommodate the widened roadway, and additional lighting in conjunction with Florida Power & Light.
