Adoptable Cat of the Week: Georgia Need a Home

She's just one of the pets up for adoption at the county's downtown center.

This week's adoptable cat is Georgia, a tortoise and calico mix.

Georgia, who is about three years old, was surrendered by her owner on June 10. She's friendly, affectionate and looking for a new home.

Animal services is offering buy one get one free adoption specials for dogs and cats in the month of August. Feel free to mix and match. Regular adoption fees, which include spay or neutering, shots, physicals and a chip, are $80 for dogs and $60 for cats. This adoption special is another step in the County’s plan to become a no-kill community.
