Adoptable Cat of the Week: Twitch Loves Attention

This week's adoptable pet is Twitch, a domestic short-hair Calico.

Twitch is a five-month-old spayed female and has been with Manatee County Animal Services since Aug. 27, when she was turned in by her owners. Twitch is a docile kitten who likes attention.

Visit Twitch at the county's downtown adoption center or at the Palmetto adoption center for Animal Services this week. The downtown center is open Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

November is a great month to adopt. Manatee County Animal Services is offering a fall adoption special. Prices have fallen 30 percent off. Dogs, regularly priced at $80, will be available for $56 throughout November. Cats, normally priced at $60 will be available for $42. Prices include spay/neuter, vaccinations, health check, current rabies certificate/tag and a microchip. This adoption special is another step in the County’s plan to become a no-kill community.
