Adoptable Cats of the Week: Mitch and Rascal Need a Home

They are just one pair of pets up for adoption at the county's downtown center.

This week's adoptable kittens are Mitch and Rascal.

Mitch, an 8-weeks old domestic short hair orange tiger, was picked up by Manatee County Animal Services on May 25. He's playful, friendly and looking for a new home. He little friend, Rascal is a 6-week-old domestic medium-haired gray kitten, picked up June 23. He's a sleepy little kitten, who loves attention.

Animal services is offering two for one prices on all dogs and cats during the month of August. Even though the sidewalk is under construction in front of the downtown adoption center, it is still open Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
