Adoptable Dog of the Week: Rosebud Needs a Home
She's just one of the pets up for adoption at the county's downtown center.
This week's adoptable pet is Rosebud a white and grey Pit Bull.
Rosebud is four years old and has been with Manatee County Animal Services since July 15, when she was brought in as a stray. Rosebud is a sweet girl who loves to get her tummy scratched and go for walks. She just wants to find a good home. Visit Rosebud at the county's downtown adoption center. Don't let the sidewalk construction out front fool you -- the center is still open.
Animal services is offering buy one get one free adoption specials for dogs and cats in the month of August. Feel free to mix and match. Regular adoption fees, which include spay or neutering, shots, physicals and a chip, are $80 for dogs and $60 for cats. This adoption special is another step in the County’s plan to become a no-kill community.
