Adoptable Dog of the Week: Tank Needs a Home
He's just one of the pets up for adoption at the county's downtown center.
This week's adoptable pet is Tank, a brindle Boxer and Rotweiller mix.
Tank is about one and a half years old and has been with Manatee County Animal Services since May 31, when he was taken in as a stray. Tank is a sweet dog and a visitor favorite. He is a people pleaser and just wants to find a good home. Visit him at the county's downtown adoption center.
Animal services will honor all active and retired United States military personnel by offering half-price adoption fees for dogs and cats in the month of July.
For more information, visit www.mymanatee.org/pets or call 941-742-5824. The animal services webpage features updated photos and descriptions of the pets available for adoption. Pet owners can also use the site to locate missing pets.
