Armed Bandit Flees Store Emptyhanded After Demanding Cash, Police Say

The suspect turned and ran after the clerk said this to him.

An armed bandit wearing a masked over his face fled from Latino Fashions emptyhanded Saturday night, according to the Manatee County Sheirff's Office.

According to investigators, the suspect – who wore a black bandana across his face – entered the Bradenton store, at 1239 60th Ave. W., at 10:19 p.m.

He pointed a small revolver at the clerk and said: "Give me all your money."

The clerk replied: "I've got something to show you," and walked toward the sales counter, deputies said.

At that point, the suspect ran out the front door.

The suspect is believed to be in his early 20s, about 5'8" inches tall. He was wearing a black hoodie.
