Armed Robbery Outside the Siesta Inn
The suspects were driving a red Dodge Magnum, according to the Manatee County Sheriff.
A man was robbed at gunpoint Wednesday afternoon outside the Siesta Inn by two suspects who fled in a red Dodge Magnum, the Manatee County Sheriff reports.
According to a press release, the victim was visiting a friend at the Siesta Inn, 2303 1st St. East, when the two suspects pulled up in a red Dodge Magnum.
For an unknown reason, the victim climbed into the Magnum, at which time one of the men drew a handgun and demanded cash.

The victim placed the money on the car floor and then jumped out of the car, which raced off from the scene, according to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.
The suspects are still at large.
