Arrest Made In Bradenton Double Homicide
A 22-year-old man has been charged with two counts of murder in connection with a double homicide in Bradenton.

BRADENTON, FL — The Manatee County Sheriff’s Office has announced an arrest in connection with a Jan. 13 double homicide in Bradenton. According to the agency, Andrew Thompson was charged with two counts of murder Friday morning.
The charges against Thompson stem the deaths of Lashawna Stevenson-Weeks, 27, and Barry Joseph, 32. Their bodies were found outside a home in the 5200 block of 15th Street Court East around 1:20 p.m. Jan. 13. The sheriff’s office has said both victims live in Manatee County, but not at the address where their bodies were found.
The deaths sparked a hunt for a dark sedan investigators believed may have been connected with the crime.
