Arrest Made In Bradenton Stabbing
An arrest has been made in an early Tuesday stabbing that sent a Bradenton man to the hospital.

BRADENTON, FL — The Manatee County Sheriff’s Office has announced an arrest in an early Tuesday morning stabbing that sent a 47-year-old man to the hospital.
According to the agency, deputies were called out to the 400 block of Spring Lakes Boulevard around 12:20 a.m. July 25. When they arrived, they found Jeffrey Green sitting on the front steps of his home. Green, an email from the sheriff’s office said, had been stabbed in the side.

Green told authorities he and another man got into a fight, which ended with the stabbing. Green was taken to a local hospital for treatment of a wound that is believed to be not life-threatening.
Deputies say Green identified the man he fought with as Phillip J. Wilsie, 38. Wilsie was picked up near the Spring Lakes Boulevard home and charged with one count of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.
