Bradenton Man, 59, Seriously Injured In Pedestrian Crash
A Sunday night crash along 15th Street East left a Bradenton man with serious injuries.

BRADENTON, FL — The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a Sunday night pedestrian crash that left a 59-year-old Bradenton man seriously injured.
According to the patrol, Joseph D. Evans Jr., 73, of Palmetto was in the left turn lane of 15th Street East, nearing the intersection of U.S. 301, around 10 p.m. April 30. As Evans turned his Ford F150 onto U.S. 301, troopers say William B. Christopher walked into the path of the truck.
Christopher was struck by the front of Evans’ truck, a highway patrol report said. He was taken to a local hospital following the crash with injuries that were described as serious.
