Bradenton Man Arrested on Charges of Robbing Local Pharmacies

Law enforcement officials say one man was responsible for recent pharmacy robberies.

A man was arrested this week and charged with a string of pharmacy robberies in Bradenton.

The Manatee County Sheriff's Office arrested Scott Casey on Tuesday on charges of robbing a at 1504 53rd Ave. E. Deputies caught Casey shortly after Tuesday's robbery, according to sheriff's reports.

The sheriff's office also named Casey, 43, as a suspect in the pharmacy robbery of the at 4300 26th St W. Other charges include possession of a controlled substance and resisting arrest.

On Wednesday, the Bradenton Police Department charged Casey with robbery in connection with the from the at 3813 Manatee Ave. W. on July 15. According to police reports, witnessess identified Casey as the man who committed the robbery.
