Bradenton Man Dies in Early Morning Crash

The Nissan Quest plowed into a storage building after drifting across the center median and lanes on 14th Street West.

A 22-year-old Bradenton man died in an early morning crash Thursday, after his Nissan drifted across several lanes and into a storage building.

Matthew Lance Daley was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

According to FHP, his Nissan Quest was traveling south on 14th Street West just before 6 a.m. Thursday.

As it approached the 14th Street West intersection, the vehicle drifted across the center media and the northbound lanes, then onto the east shoulder.

The vehicle plowed into a storage building at 3601 14th St. West.

The accident is under investigation. The driver was not wearing a seatbelt.
